How Does the Email Counselor Interaction Work?
After you complete the I of the credit counseling course online, you can interact with a counselor over a series of email exchanges.

The counseling is required to be personalized and substantive, focusing on your particular financial situation and options for your debts. For this reason, you can expect to have at least 3-5 email exchanges as you and the counselor discuss your current and future financial situation.

It can take up to 60 minutes for a counselor to respond to each email.
